Mamas, to help you save time and find your matching family pajamas this year, I have scouted out and linked my favorite finds for classic and clever jammies that are now available for the 2022 holiday season! Ordering soon is a good idea, as sizes can sell out quickly. Many companies release their season collections in August/September, so there should still be a good selection to choose from right now.
To find your favorite quickly, find everything listed below on my Christmas Pajama 2022 Pinterest board!
Or, here are the links to my favorite brands to find matching pajamas:
And on to a few of my favorites!
I love subtle colors and classic looks for holiday pajamas. But occasionally, there is a full on print that really catches my eye. Here are two of my favorite pajamas sets from J.Crew:
While pink may not be considered a traditional Christmas color, I have all girls so these adorable tree pjs could be an option if I decide to only get matching pjs for my kiddos. In past years, we have all wore matching family pajamas on Christmas Day. In that case, I’d opt for something more gender-neutral like the ivory light bulb pjs. However, J.Crew doesn’t offer the adult matching pjs in this print, so if you are looking for something for the whole family you can check out the light bulb pajamas at Hanna Andersson that are very similar.
Southern Smocked Company has a fabulous collection of vintage inspired Christmas pajamas. They are absolutely where I’d go for classic pajamas. As my girls and my sister’s girls are both in ballet, their Nutcracker inspired pajamas caught my eye! I also like their White Christmas Eve pajamas.
These Christmas thermal pajamas remind me of a Grandma Moses paintings that hung in our family room growing up (available in baby, toddler and kid sizes). And so do these holiday village ones from Burts Bees! I also love this woodland print or pine cone pajamas for something your little one could wear all winter long.
Another set that could be worn as long as it fits are these evergreen bamboo pajamas, that are actually on final sale right now. Hurry and get your kiddos’ sizes if there are any left! And if they are out of your kiddo’s size, here is a similar set of evergreen waffle knit pajamas from Carter’s.
Not going to be “home for the holidays”? When I first saw these tropical holiday pajamas from Burts Bees, I shrieked in excitement at the cuteness. They really make me wish our annual winter visit to Florida would be early this year! And another Burt Bees option, these mugs of happiness jammies would be perfect for your kiddos to wear to my second annual “Milk & Cookies” mini sessions (see below), and so would these holiday treats pajamas available at Little Sleepies!
Looking for something a little darker? I am all about light and bright, but my husband loves black. Here are two darker pajama sets that still have a classic look: heritage fairisle pajamas (Hanna Andersson) and Scandi fair isle pajamas (Burts Bees).
And finally, because Jesus is the reason for the season, check out these nativity pajamas! These are not yet available, but they are expected to be around mid-October.
Why do I share the links for matching Christmas jammies every year? I will be opening bookings for my second annual “Milk & Cookies” mini sessions soon! Check out this blog post with details about last year’s sessions! They are such a fun way to kick off the holiday season. Stay posted for details later this month.
Can’t wait to spread some holiday cheer!
P.S. My new photographer friend Samantha wrote a great blog post that goes into get depth about where family photographers can get their photography submissions published. This is a great post for my other photographer friends to check out!
