6 Month Milestone with Jax, Collective Member Session – Brainerd Baby Photographer

Where does the time go? I cannot believe summer is over, and our girls are back in school already. It was like a light switched, and suddenly the cool, fall air moved in. I caught the autumn fever bug and put mums out in front of my studio already. As an October baby, and I LOVE all things fall (except for the fact that it means winter is around the corner!). There is something so comforting about it all… warm drinks, sweaters, cuddling, etc.

I recently got to see one of my collective members, Jax! I love being a Brainerd baby photographer and getting to see how each has grown since his or her last session with me. When expecting mamas choose to become collective members, I get to see those families grow over the course of a year or a little more. It is so much fun to design wall art or heirloom albums for these families, with images from each of their sessions, showing their family story.

Jax is wearing a knit outfit from my client wardrobe that I purchased from Zara. I have curated many outfits and accessories to mix and match for a cohesive look throughout your sessions with me. In prior sessions (maternity and his newborn), their wardrobe included beiges, grays, blues and pinks/mauve. We will continue with those hues for their next session, Jax’s first birthday session.

While some parents choose to focus just on baby for a milestone session, the whole family is welcome to join. In this case, I was able to convince mom to join in though she wasn’t planning on it. I am so glad she did!

I can’t wait to see and celebrate with Jax at his next collective membership session – his first birthday session!
